These high-quality, professional bassoon reeds are made for Ellis Music by Becky Eldredge, a lifelong bassoonist who plays professionally throughout New England.
The reeds are handmade over the course of several soaking and adjustment periods to ensure great stability. Each bassoon reed is shaped using a Knakenhauer #1 shaper and Rigotti cane.
This "medium soft" reed is designed to be immediately playable (no adjustments needed).
