Riley Goodemote holds a bachelors of music in music education and trombone from the Ithaca College School of Music, and he currently works as an ensemble player, soloist, conductor and educator in southern Vermont. He teaches in schools at the middle and high school level, independently as a lesson instructor and through the Brattleboro Music Center as a private teacher and conductor.

I specialize in folkloric repertoire associated with our region. Mandolin is taught at beginner through advanced levels. Trumpet and guitar are taught beginner through intermediate.

I lead or am involved in a number of teaching ensembles which support students socially and musically. Please see my website for much more information.

I support the district curriculum but move students to Arban's cornet method when appropriate. For strings I use my own curriculum.
